The new shaft from Japan for 2008 is Quattro Tech MD. The shafts are a variation of the very successful Quattro Tech shaft. The use of 4 axis material makes this family of shafts the highest performance golf shafts today. Graphite Design International will release its newest premium performance graphite shaft to the U.S. market. The Quattro Tech Series incorporates a revolutionary "4-Axis Material" exclusively for this line. Similar to the Pershing Series, this high-end composite provides even more stability through impact for use with today's larger club heads. As the center of gravity of driver heads moves further from the center of gravity of the shaft, more torsion resistance is needed through the tip section. The Quattro Tech maintains exceptional feel and control when the most force is placed upon it. The end result is quite simply, more Accuracy and more Distance. This shaft has earned the right to boast the TOUR AD Logo, the highest honor of GDI's Japanese Series. The Quattro Tech will come in 4 weight categories of 55, 65, 75 and 85 grams. Graphite Design - Tour AD I & W

Compared to other Tour AD models, the I-65 is a 74 gram mid/high kickpoint shaft designed for a lower ball flight. It has a very low torque rating of 2.1 and is best suited for accomplished players with high swing speeds. The soft tip of the W-Series is designed for slow to medium swing speeds. It has a more flexible bend profile than the I-65 with one of the industry's lowest kickpoints.

Graphite Tour AD Iron Series

Graphite Design – Pershing

An ultra-light shaft with a low kick point to assist golfers with slow swing speeds. The Ladies Flex comes in pink while the RR, R, and S Flexes are black. Slightly heavier than the 45, the 55 has a longer parallel tip for more trimming options and 5 flexes to choose from. This light weight shaft is also offered in X-Flex. This is an excellent weight category to maximize clubhead speed. The 65 weight category is the most widely used for average to high swing speeds. Offered in R, S, and X Flex, many golfers opt to use this premium performer in fairway woods as well. Graphite Design – G-Tech

The light weight G-Tech Wood shafts are manufactured to 47". They can be trimmed from the tip or butt end to produce the desired flex and length for drivers and fairway woods. This shaft is well suited for introductory players with slow to average swing speeds. The G-Tech Iron shafts are manufactured to 41". The raw weight is approximately 77grams for the L/A and 80 grams for the R/S. Each shaft can be fit to the necessary flex and length to accommodate a variety of skill levels.
